He has attended school in Edmond, Crescent, McAlester, Guthrie, and Perry the past year.  He hopes to enroll at Central State college after graduation.  Industrial arts is his favorite subject and television is he hobby.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Truman Dee Gunn<\/h1>\n<h3>May 2, 1940 &#8211; July 25, 1996<\/h3>\n<p>Truman Gunn, 56, 1200 Pecan, died at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 1996, at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Durango, Colorado, on May 2, 1940, he was the son of Carl and Alma Gunn. A Perry resident since 1957, Gunn graduated from Perry high school in 1958. He and Betty Matthews were married in Perry on July 14, 1961.<\/p>\n<p>He served in the United States Army and was a 32 year employee of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Gunn was affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene, was a member of the Perry Elks Lodge, and was a 32nd degree Mason.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his wife, of the home, survivors include his parents, Carl and Alma Gunn, Crescent; one brother, Gordon Gunn, Yukon; and two sisters, Lora Berry, Cres\u00adcent, and Jackie Bounds, Vienna, VA.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by two sisters. <\/p>\n<p>Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Nazarene in Perry. Rev. Travis Hopper and Rev. Eric Owen will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery.
