Lambert, 92, of Edmond, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Baggerley Memorial Chapel with burial following at 4 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Sumner. Lambert died Tuesday at the Oklahoma Christian Home.<\/p>\n<p>Born Oct. 31, 1893, in Lynn County, Kan., he lived in Edmond since 1943. He was a retired teacher and superintendent, and had also worked for the state Department of Education for 21 years, retiring in 1964.<\/p>\n<p>He was a veteran of World War I, a member, of the American Legion, the Masonic Lodge, the Retired Teachers Association and the First Christian Church. He established and was very active in the Edmond Senior Center.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two sons, Bill Lambert of Edmond and G.
