Connie Ellen Wentz plans to attend Northern Oklahoma college at Tonkawa following graduation. She is the 18-year-old daughter of Mrs. Tom Wentz, 716 Grave street, and was born April 3, 1948, in Manford. Connie has attended only Perry schools. She has been a Red Hot, a cheerleader, and a member of FTA, junior play, Glee club, mixed chorus, all-school review and Christmas vespers. Advanced composition is her favorite subject, and dancing her hobby. Connie plans to work during the summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

April 3, 1948 – May 11, 1975<\/h3>\n

\ufeffMrs. Kenneth (Connie Ellen Wentz) Price, 27, Guthrie, formerly of Perry, died of injuries received early Sunday morning in a one vehicle accident eight and one-half miles east of Hennessey.<\/p>\n

Born April 3, 1948, at Mann-ford, Mrs. Price lived most of her life. in the Perry area. She was a 1966 graduate of Perry high school and had attended Oklahoma State university. She was married Feb. 1, 1974, in Texas, to Kenneth Price, who survives.<\/p>\n

She was a member of the First Christian church of Perry. Mrs. Price was employed by the Guthrie Job Corps, as a PBX operator at the time of her death. She had lived in Guthrie the past three years.<\/p>\n

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, of the home; her mother, Mrs. Geraldene Wentz, Guthrie, formerly of Perry; a sister, Mrs. Bill (Sue) Vollmer, Perry; two nephews and one niece. <\/p>\n

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom W. Wentz.<\/p>\n

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Guthrie Christian church at 1802 West Logan, Guthrie, OK, with Rev. Steve Herndon officiating.
