    {"id":12736,"date":"2019-01-16T18:14:31","date_gmt":"2019-01-17T00:14:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/?page_id=12736"},"modified":"2020-10-12T15:07:16","modified_gmt":"2020-10-12T20:07:16","slug":"obituary-lee-william-armond-buck","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/?page_id=12736","title":{"rendered":"Obituary &#8211; Lee, William Armond &#8220;Buck&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"one_third\">\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Class of 1931<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>William Armond &#8220;Buck&#8221; Lee<\/h1>\n<h3>February 16, 1914 &#8211;  January 18, 1964<\/h3>\n<p>William A. &#8220;Buck&#8221; Lee, 49, died of a heart attack late Saturday night in Norman Municipal Hospital, Norman, Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>Born February 16, 1914 in Fredonia, Kansas, Lee was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jess Lee of Perry.  He graduated from Perry high school in 1931.  <\/p>\n<p>He was a former Linotype operator for The Perry Daily Journal before moving to Norman where he was employed at the the University Press for the past 12 years.<\/p>\n<p>He was a member of the Norman Masonic Lodge number 38, a past high priest of Lion Chapter 24, past illustrious master of Norman council 27, and an office of Norman commandry 38, Knights Templar.  He was also a past patron of chapter 41, Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the First Christian Church.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife, Rilla, of the home; two daughters, Trudy Lee, Washington, D.
