\ufeffGolf and and reading are among hobbies of Rodney Charles Nuttle. He was born at Perry, Oct. 15, 1969, and attended Perry schools from kindergarten through grade 12. He was a member of band in elementary and junior high; a member of Future Business Leaders of America as a junior; and Future Teachers of America as a senior. History is his favorite school class. Nuttle plans to attend Oklahoma State university and major in finance. He is a member of the First Christian church. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nuttle, 1007 Tenth street, are his parents.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

October 15, 1969 – January 4, 2010<\/h3>\n

Rodney Charles Nuttle, 40, died January 4, 2010, after a short illness. He died at home surrounded by family and friends.<\/p>\n

Born October 15, 1969, in Perry, OK, he attended Perry Public Schools until he graduated from Perry High School in 1987. He then attended OSU.<\/p>\n

As a youngster he worked as a paperboy for the Perry Daily Journal. Later he went to work at Safeway\/Homeland as a sacker and soon moved to checker, both in Perry and Claremore. He worked for several years at IBM, then left to become a partner in a remodeling\/carpentry business in Dallas.<\/p>\n

He enjoyed trips to the beaches in Texas and was a member of various First Christian Churches (Disciples of Christ).<\/p>\n

Rodney is survived by his parents, Chuck and Nila Nuttle; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carmen and Roger Tetik and Andrea and Paul Tyrrell; three nephews, Ryan Dilbeck and Caleb and Alexander Tyirell; step-nephews and nieces Whitney Tetik, Quinton, Amanda and Aiden Tetik, Treynor Tetik and Spencer Tetik, and his good friend, Doug Hathcock.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Dona Gay Nuttle; his paternal grandparents, C.E. and Fay Nuttle; his maternal grandparents, Francis and Evelyn Nelson; an aunt, Lavona Sebastian, and an uncle, Frank Nelson.<\/p>\n

Rodney will be cremated in Dallas.
