Rood of Frederick, Maryland died Thursday, April 8, at Citizens Nursing Home.  She was the wife of Frank E. Rood.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Perry, Okla., she was a daughter of the late Ira and Minnie Ash Lovell.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Rood was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Southern Methodist University, Texas.  She was a teacher, retiring from the Frederick County Board of Education in 1974.  She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.<\/p>\n<p>Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Mitchell D.
