Born March 31, 1899, to Edward Brace and Daisy (Sanders) Edwards, she graduated from Perry high school in 1918.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Cary was also a graduate of Oklahoma A &#038; M with a BA in education, a member of Pi Beta Phi fraternity for women, the China Assn., The American Association of University Women (AAUW), Crown Heights Christian Church, and Eastern Star. <\/p>\n<p>She and Homer R. Cary were married on June 8, 1925, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death in 1985.
