He completed his high school work at mid-term and has been employed since then at a local cafe and for the past month with the engineers of the state highway department at Enid.  Born June 13, 1945, in Cushing, he attended grade and high school in Newkirk and high school in Oklahoma City before coming to PHS.  He is the son of Mrs. William Harrah, 1316 Elm street and W. G. Riddick, route 2, Ponca City.  While in Perry, he lived mostly with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman A. Timmons, 1015 Grove street.  He took part in swimming while attending school in Oklahoma City.  Riddick preferred economics and speech while in high scvhool here.  His hobby is automobile mechanics.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Richard Michael Riddick<\/h1>\n<h3>June 13, 1945 &#8211; November 25, 1993<\/h3>\n<p>\ufeffRichard Michael Riddick, 48, Perry, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1993, in a residence at the north edge of Perry.<\/p>\n<p>Riddick was born June 13, 1945, at Cushing, the son of Bill and Dorothy (Timmons) Riddick. He attended St. Joseph Academy in Perry and was a graduate of Perry high school.<\/p>\n<p>He served with the United States Army Reserves from 1965-71. He formerly was an employee of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and at the time of his death worked for Noble county district three. He had been a truck driver for many years and formerly was employed by Louis Vasek, Smith Trucking and R. L. Frailey.<\/p>\n<p>Among survivors are his mother, Dorothy Harrah, Perry; his father, Bill Riddick Sr., Chandler; a brother, Bill Riddick Jr., Salinas, Calif.; paternal grandmother, Vernal Riddick, Stillwater; and his fiance, Ann Malget, Perry.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Brown Funeral home.  Rev. Lynn Scott, pastor of the First Christian church, will officiate.
