Rev. Lynn Scott, pastor, will officiate. Burial of the cremains will be held in Grace Hill cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Judith Karman Hospice of Stillwater.<\/p>\n<p>Vassar was born April 24, 1938, in Noble county, the son of George &#8220;Jack&#8221; and Helen Vassar. He attended White school in Noble county and graduated from Perry high school. <\/p>\n<p>Vassar and Donna Schweisberger were married on Dec. 30,1955, at Stillwater. He and Billie Jean Crane were married on Jan. 14, 1980, in Perry. <\/p>\n<p>Vassar owned and operated Vassar&#8217;s Garage in Perry. His hobbies were motor cycles and animals.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his wife, Billie, of the home, survivors include three sons, Lane Vassar, of the home, Neal Vassar, Weatherford, OK, and Troy Vassar, Perry; four daughters, Leslie Vassar, of the home; Brandi Gertener, Okmulgee, Rhonda Johnson, Perry, and Karen Seagroves, Oklahoma City; one brother, Gary Rainsbarger, Riverside, CA; three sisters, Minnie Hollister, Shattuck, OK, Genene Bunch, Weatherford, TX, and Linda Johnson, Las Vegas, NV; his father, George &#8220;Jack&#8221; Vassar, Lake Elsinore, CA; his mother, Helen Rainsbarger, Perry; and five grandchildren.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"page-FullWidth.php","meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/15613"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=15613"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/15613\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":15614,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/15613\/revisions\/15614"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=15613"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
