{"id":15812,"date":"2020-02-24T01:23:16","date_gmt":"2020-02-24T07:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/?page_id=15812"},"modified":"2020-02-24T01:23:16","modified_gmt":"2020-02-24T07:23:16","slug":"obituary-holba-florence-ruth-hicks","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/?page_id=15812","title":{"rendered":"Obituary &#8211; Holba, Florence Ruth (Hicks)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"one_third\">\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Class of 1942<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Florence Ruth (Hicks) Holba<\/h1>\n<h3>December 7, 1921 &#8211; July 19, 2002<\/h3>\n<p>Ruth Holba, 80 of Perry, was born in Perry, Oklahoma on December 7, 1921 and died Friday morning, July 19, 2002, from a farm accident at her residence.<\/p>\n<p>She was the daughter of Elmer Edwin and Elizabeth Mary (Knepper) Hicks.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth married Edwin Holba on May 11, 1947, at the First Baptist Church in Perry, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time at the Perry Senior Citizens Center.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at the First Christian Church in Perry with Kent Reubell officiating. Burial will be at Grace Hill Cemetery.
