Stout and Carolina \u201cLena\u201d Emma (Boepple) Carlile. She died January 6, 2018 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>Donna grew up in Covington and graduated from Perry High School in 1947.<\/p>\n<p>On September 19, 1949, she married Oliver Robert Sample in Covington, Oklahoma. They moved to Seiling and started their family, then they lived in Enid where Donna was a homemaker. In 1963, they moved to Chickasha and opened and operated the \u201cWide Awake\u201d grocery store until 1973. They then moved to Cement and opened a \u201cGrocery &#038; Grill\u201d store until they retired. Donna and Oliver moved back to Chickasha in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Donna enjoyed gardening, canning, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and loved to bowl in the Women\u2019s League. She also loved playing cards and BINGO.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by both her parents; husband, Oliver Sample; brother, Harold Stout; son-in-law, Harold King; sisters, Nina Hoy and Betty Kienholz; and great-grandson, Braden Kinnamon.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn King of Chickasha, Peggy and Wickie Riley of Amber, Tarri and Les Carpenter of Cement, and Tena and Jeff Jordan of Custer City; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Debi Sample of Yukon; brothers, Larry Carlile of Perry and Mark Carlile of Colorado; sister, Twila Bales of California; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and other extended family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>The family requests memorials be made to the Grady Memorial Hospital Foundation, 2220 Iowa Ave., Chickasha, OK 73018.<\/p>\n<p>Interment will be in Cement Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"page-FullWidth.php","meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/16375"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=16375"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/16375\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":16380,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/16375\/revisions\/16380"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=16375"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
