Plumer, 78, Tyler, TX, are pending with Lloyd James Funeral Home.  Mr. Plumer died Monday afternoon in a Tyler hospital.<\/p>\n<p>He was born Sept. 7, 1916, in Perry, Okla., to Louis Gertrude &#8220;Girtha&#8221; (Scrivner) Plumer.  He graduated from Perry high school in 1934.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Plumer was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and retired in 1971 from Mobil Oil Corp., where he was a district exploration superintendent for 25 years.
