W. Wilson of Perry, was born in Perry on June 15, 1920 and attended the elementary grades in Perry and attended high school in Perry.  During his high school career he was in the Art Club.<\/p>\n<p>Following graduation he expects to work a year and then attend college.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Charles Lee Wilson<\/h1>\n<h3>June 15, 1920 &#8211; June 11, 2000<\/h3>\n<p>\ufeffCharles Lee Wilson, age 79, of Austin, Texas, died Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Born on June 15, 1920, in Perry, Oklahoma, to Robert William and Ruth Elizabeth (Brengle) Wilson.  He graduated from Perry high school in 1937.<\/p>\n<p>Charles received his bachelor&#8217;s degree, in chemical engineering, from Oklahoma State University and his master&#8217;s degree, in petroleum engineering, from Tulsa University. He worked as a chemical engineer for Exxon for 40 years and for USGS for 15 years. The Department of Interior recognized him for his work with the United States Geological Survey in Alaska.<\/p>\n<p>His son, Duncan Frank Wilson; his daughter-in-law, Marta Mendoza Wilson; and grandson, Bruce Wilson, preceded him in death.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Mary (McNeely) Wilson, of Austin; sons; Roger William Wilson, of Annapolis, Maryland, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Allan Dean Wilson, of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter, Sandra Bailey and husband, Ed, of Henderson, Nevada; daughter-in-law, Jane Henderson Wilson, of Austin, Texas; brothers, Allan William Wilson and wife, Phoebe, of Perry, Oklahoma, Eugene Wilson and wife, Louise. of Anaheim, California; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Memorial services will be held in Perry, Oklahoma at a later date.
