Stanley, 22, a Korea war veteran, graduates this year from Perry high school with plans to seek employment in the oil fields.  He served with the armed forces from 1950-52 as a Army Infantryman with Company I, 179th regiment, 45th division.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don E. Stanley, 521 Elm street.  Don was born in Stillwater Aug. 24, 1930.  He has received all his schooling here.  He served as a school bus driver from 1948-50 and again this past school year.  He played football during the 1947-48 school year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Don Junior Stanley<\/h1>\n<h3>August 24, 1930 &#8211; January 20, 1997<\/h3>\n<p>\ufeffDon Junior Stanley, 66, was found dead of apparent natural causes on Monday, Jan. 20, 1997, at his home at 803 1\/2 Kaw street.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Perry on Aug. 24, 1930, he was the son of Don and Cora Stanley. He graduated from Perry high school in 1953.<\/p>\n<p>He served with the 45th division in Korea and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He retired in 1991 from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.<\/p>\n<p>Among survivors are one brother, Verlin Lee Stanley, Perry; and two sisters, Lucille Harris, Perry, and Hazel Johannes, Mulhall.<\/p>\n<p>Graveside rites are set for 2 p.m., Thursday, at Grace Hill cemetery. Rev.
