Floyd Earl Kirk<\/h1>\n

Class of 1973<\/h2>\n

Floyd Kirk, a 1973 PHS graduate, has been a teacher, coach, and administrator for nearly five decades in Oklahoma public schools. Throughout his career, Floyd taught Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, and Psychology. He led basketball, softball, and track teams to various tournament successes, including a State Track Championship in Washington, OK.<\/p>\n

He was the CCOSA 1998 Elementary Principal of the Year award at Wayne Schools. <\/p>\n

As Dover and Allen Bowden school superintendent for 13 years, Floyd used his grant-writing expertise to secure over $2,000,000 in innovative funding. <\/p>\n

After his retirement in 2015, he was a substitute teacher in severe-needs special education at Glenpool. He also served on the Glenpool Foundation Board and the City of Glenpool Planning Commission Board and volunteered as a Tulsa County CASA advocate..\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
