Velma is one of the graduates with this year&#8217;s class at PHS.<\/p>\n<p>Born 18 years ago in Perry, Miss Harlan&#8217;s plans for the future are not complete.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Velma Pearl Harlan<\/h1>\n<h3>November 27, 1924 &#8211; July 26, 2000<\/h3>\n<p>\ufeffVelma Harlan, 75, Perry, died at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday at Green Valley Nursing Home.<\/p>\n<p>Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2000, at Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Sisson Funeral Home. Officiating will be Iona Rutherford and Gloria Brown.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Harlan was born November 27, 1924, in Perry, the daughter of Earl and Martha (Nelson) Harlan. She worked as a member of the support personnel at Oklahoma State University.
