McCormick, 74, 705 Twelfth Street, who was dead on arrival at 4:10 p.m. Saturday at Perry Memorial Hospital, where he had been taken by Perry fire department ambulance.<\/p>\n<p>A lifelong resident of the Perry area, McCormick was born March 17, 1901, at Perry.  He was a graduate of St. Joseph&#8217;s academy at Perry and Perry High School.  He was married at Fort Smith, July 1, 1944, to the former Helen Rother, who preceded him in death Jan. 14, 1967.  McCormick and Mabel Littlier were married at Pawnee, Sept. 10, 1971.<\/p>\n<p>McCormick was in business in Perry until his retirement.  He was a veteran of World War I and was active in politics.  He was the son of a pioneer, W. H. McCormick, who made the Cherokee Strip run for land.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife, of the home address; a step-daughter, Sharon, of California; a sister, Mrs. A. C. Catherine Gideon, Perry; and a brother, Robert McCormick, Perry.<\/p>\n<p>McCormick was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.<\/p>\n<p>Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Parker Funeral chapel under direction of Sister Bernadette of St. Francis Hospital at Wichita, Kan.  Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church of Perry with Rev. M. R. Work, pastor, officiating.
