Smith, 78, a resident of Harrah, OK, died Tuesday evening at a Midwest City hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The son of Webster and Fannie (Hunter) Smith, he was born July 4, 1906, in Noble County.  He graduated from Perry high school in 1927.<\/p>\n<p>He was a member of Perry&#8217;s Battery C, 158th field artillery unit of the Oklahoma National Guard.
