T. Sherrard.  She has attended only the Perry schools, where she is a member of the Girl Reserve club and the Home Economic club.  She plans to attend business college next year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Maxine Theodora (Sherrard) Watkins<\/h1>\n<h3>June 03, 1920 &#8211; December 29, 2020<\/h3>\n<p>Maxine Theodora (Sherrard) Watkins entered into the presence of her Savior on Tuesday, December 29, 2021, at the age of 100 years, 6 months, and 26 days.<\/p>\n<p>Born June 3, 1920, in Perry, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of David Theodore &#8220;Ted&#8221; and Angeline Marian (Allen) Sherrard.  She graduated from Perry High School in 1938.<\/p>\n<p>On March 26, 1954, she and Leland James Watkins were married in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  They were married more than 50 years before his death in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her husband, Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marceil Phillips and Marian Pennington; and a nephew, William (Bill) Pennington.<\/p>\n<p>Maxine is survived by two sons and their wives, Fred Watkins and Lisa of Idabel, Oklahoma, and Bill Watkins and Amy of Lawton, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Angela, Amanda, Dalton and mate Kelsey, William, Bethany and husband Jason, Lisa and husband Oscar; seven great-grandchildren, Paige, Daxton, Eliana, Briana, Ayden, Zachary and Elisabeth; two nephews, Jim Phillips and Royce \u201cSonny\u201d Pennington and wife Carolyn; four nieces, Pat Merchant and husband Royce, Mic Lavalley, Dotti Woolsey and husband James, Martie Hart and husband Max; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.<\/p>\n<p>A family graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery (13313 N. Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City).
