Armon Marshall, 18, was born in Perry Oct. 8, 1933. Following graduation at Perry high he hopes to enroll in college. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Pricer, 103 Birch street. Armon has attended school in Perry and Oklahoma City and was a member of the Perry high student council for the past year. He has also played football and basketball.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

October 8, 1933 – September 18, 2021<\/h3>\n

\"\"Armon Lesh Marshall, 87, died on September 18, 2021. <\/p>\n

Born October 8, 1933, he was the son of Edgar and Mabel Marshall, and was raised in Perry. Armon and his wife, JoAnn (deceased) moved to Oklahoma City where they raised four children and resided the rest of their lives excluding a short time in Ankeny, Iowa.<\/p>\n

His life\u2019s work was in the grocery industry, with Humpty Dumpty Supermarkets and various other sales positions. <\/p>\n

In retirement Armon worked at Guaranty Bank, et al. He was well regarded by many in both industries. Armon\u2019s favorite pastimes were traveling, jogging, biking and spending time with family and friends at Lake Tenkiller and solving crossword puzzles. He especially liked to attend most any sporting event, especially those of his kids\/grandkids. He also had a great love for all his dogs.<\/p>\n

Armon was an Elder at Cherokee Hills Christian Church and on the Board of Midwest Christian College. <\/p>\n

Survivors include his children, Mark Marshall (Susie), Sally Smith (Vern-deceased), Susan Miller and Mike Marshall (Kim); grandchildren Brittney (Josh Barnette), Taylor Marshall, Amber (Kevin Wright), Shay Smith (Shareen), Jacob Smith, Savannah Smith, Colby Miller, Cailey Miller, Ceaton Miller and Sydnee Marshall; five great-grandchildren, Blake, Nash, Brooklynn, Calvin and Henry and a host of family and friends.<\/p>\n

In a private ceremony, Armon\u2019s ashes will be interred next to his wife, JoAnn\u2019s, at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, OK, and a portion spread at Lake Tenkiller.
