Charles Bristow, a graduating senior at 16, is the son of Charles Lee Bristow of 428 Birch street. He was born September 1, 1929, in Ash Flat, Ark., and attended grade school in Lynn, Ark. Before moving to Perry he was in high school at Batesville, Ark.<\/p>\n

This year he has served on the student council and since 1942 has been active in basketball and football. Charles is a member of the lettermen’s club. Folliwing graduation he will go to college. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Charles Warren Bristow<\/h1>\n

September 1, 1929 \u2013 March 12, 2017<\/h3>\n

Charles W. Bristow passed away peacefully with family on Sunday, March 12, 2017. <\/p>\n

Charles was born in Ash Flat, Arkansas, and was raised on his family\u2019s farm. He graduated from Perry High School at 16 and then enlisted in the Air Force. He proudly served for 22 years before retiring. He then went to work for Gates Rubber Company where he retired after 22 years. He and Pat retired to Arizona in 1991 where he enjoyed playing golf. They moved back to Colorado in 2012 where they spent the rest of their retirement with their family. <\/p>\n

Charles is survived by his daughters Kelly Lehto and Kim Sutton-Morr, his sons Bill Bristow and Bob Bristow, his sons-in-law John Lehto and Tim Morr, and his grandchildren Jessica Bristow, Jourdan Sutton, Alix Sutton, Justin Sutton, Brendan Morr, Madison Morr, Mellissa Robertson and Nathaniel Bristow. <\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his wife Cleo \u201cPat\u201d Bristow and his parents, Winifred Bristow and Charles L. Bristow.<\/p>\n

His memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Olinger Chapel Hills, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial, CO 80121. A procession to Fort Logan will begin at 12:45 p.m. In memory of Charles Bristow, donations can be made to The Denver Hospice, c\/o Katharine M.
