{"id":22570,"date":"2022-07-27T16:36:35","date_gmt":"2022-07-27T21:36:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/?page_id=22570"},"modified":"2023-01-17T18:17:35","modified_gmt":"2023-01-18T00:17:35","slug":"obituary-gollehon-marion-floyd","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/?page_id=22570","title":{"rendered":"Obituary &#8211; Gollehon, Marion Floyd"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"one_third\">\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Class of 1906<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Marion Floyd Gollehon<\/h1>\n<h3>October 21, 1885 &#8211; March 5, 1963<\/h3>\n<p>Marion Floyd Gollehon, 77, longtime resident of Cherokee, Oklahoma, died Tuesday after he collapsed in downtown Cherokee. <\/p>\n<p>Born in Shelbina, Missouri, on Oct. 21, 1885, he was the son of James and Sarah Jane (Stalcup) Gollehon.  He graduated from Perry High School in 1906.<\/p>\n<p>On December 27, 1915, Gollehon and Velma Wynona Fees were married. He worked as an insurance agent and as the tag agent for Alfalfa County.<\/p>\n<p>He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Methodist Church, Cherokee. <\/p>\n<p>Survivors include one brother, Lilburn Walter Gollehon, Canton, and one sister, Mrs. Letha Mabel Bahr, Stillwater.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, in the Cherokee First Methodist Church.  Rev. Roy C.
