Sandra Lee Hasenfratz enjoys collecting records as a hobby, and lists English as her favorite subject. Sandra’s plans after graduation are indefinite. She is the 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hasenfratz, 408 Holly street, and is a native Perryan, having been born here Aug. 23, 1940. Her extra-curricular activities have included the Red Hots, glee club, and sophomore class assembly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

August 23, 1940 – February 17, 2023<\/h3>\n

Sandra Lee Grubb, surrounded by her loved ones, went home to be with her Lord and Savior February 17, 2023, at her home in Perry. She was 82 years old.<\/p>\n

Born August 23, 1940, in Perry, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Leo and Ethel (Wagoner) Hasenfratz. She grew up in Perry and was a 1958 graduate of Perry High School. She was married to Maurice V. Grubb on May 15, 1959, at the First Christian Church in Perry.<\/p>\n

She is the mother of three children: Mike Grubb, John Grubb and a daughter, the late Mitzi Grubb.<\/p>\n

In addition to her family, she had a love for flower gardening and sharing those flowers with others. She especially loved her \u201cnaked ladies.\u201d She loved to read her Bible and enjoyed watching and taking care of the feral cats in her neighborhood.<\/p>\n

She was a member of the Perry Assembly of God Church. She loved being a member of Aglow International and once served as president of the Perry Aglow chapter.<\/p>\n

In her early years she worked as a waitress, and, in addition to being a full-time housewife and mother, she occasionally worked as a caregiver for elderly women.<\/p>\n

Survivors include: her two sons, Michael (Mike) Grubb and his wife Lynn, and John Grubb; four grandsons, Colin Grubb, Brandon Grubb, Jared Grubb and Noah Schaffer; and one great-granddaughter Jaden Grubb.<\/p>\n

Preceding her in death were: her husband, Maurice; her parents; her daughter, Mitzi; a sister, Shirley Hasenfratz; two brothers, Tom Hasenfratz and Dan Hasenfratz; father and mother-in-law, Arthur and Vera Grubb; and brothers-in-law, Milton Grubb and John Yeager. <\/p>\n
