He was born May 14, 1949, in Chicago.  He attended classes Los Angeles before enrolling here.  He was in football 1964-67; wrestling 1964-67; track 1964-67; regional wrestling champ 1964; Big 4 runner-up 1965; football all-conference; and district fullback 1966-67.  Government is his favorite subject and boxing is his hobby.  He plans to enroll at Hiram Scott college in Scotts Bluff, Neb.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Donald Wesly David Thompson<\/h1>\n<h3>May 14, 1949 &#8211; December 25, 2023<\/h3>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Lifetime_Member_small.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"float:left; margin-right: 5px;\"\/><\/br>Donald Wesly David Thompson, AKA: \u201cDon\u201d or \u201cPOPS,\u201d age 74, transitioned to his final seat in heaven the morning of December 25, 2023, at Norman Regional Hospital. <\/p>\n<p>     Born in May, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Homer and Edna Thompson.
