Born in Perry, Oklahoma, she attended Oklahoma A&#038;M College in Stillwater. She was the widow of the late Dr. Henry G. Bennett, Jr. <\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Bennett was a long time volunteer at A Chance to Change, Lyric Theatre, and Omniplex.
