She graduated from Perry High School in 1930 and attended Oklahoma A. &#038; M.  <\/p>\n<p>On Feb. 3, 1934 she and John Herbert Tua were married in Oklahoma City.  They made their home in McAlester since Dec. 1935. <\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Bernard Smith of Waco, TX, Mrs. Judith Brown of Southlake, TX and Mrs. Susan Brimmer of Vienna, VA. She was the sister of Walter S. Powers, Jr.,  John W.Powers, and Hazel L.
