(Scheihing) Holman<\/h1>\n<h3>December 29, 1904 &#8211; October 10, 2001<\/h3>\n<p>\ufeffKatherine A. Holman, 96, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2001. <\/p>\n<p>Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on December 29, 1904, she was the daughter of John and Carrie Franks Scheihing. She attended Perry high school in her junior year.  <\/p>\n<p>On January 6, 1923, Katherine and Oscar Hayden Holman were married in McClain County, Oklahoma.  Oscar was a teacher and in school administration. He passed away in 1988.  In addition to raising their 3 children, Katherine taught school and was rural school supervisor for Osage County, Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>The couple moved to Collinsville about 1942 where they were members of the First United Methodist Church. <\/p>\n<p>Survivors include: one son, James O. &#8220;Bill&#8221; and wife, Betty Holman of Claremore; two daughters, Carolyn Comfort Sanderson and husband, Arden of Claremore; and Margaret and husband, Bill Henley of Tulsa; one brother, John Scheihing of Medford, OK; 9 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. <\/p>\n<p>Service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2001, at First United Methodist Church.
