Jaques, 90, died on November 10, 1994.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Russell, Virginia, on September 30, 1904, she was the daughter of Charles Owen and Alta Caroline Wilson Shelton.  Following her graduation from Perry high school in 1923, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Pi, national social sorority.  <\/p>\n<p>She taught in the Perry city schools for several years before her marriage to Robert H. Jaques on April 8, 1933, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  Robert worked for the Slick Urschel oil company and they made their home in Oklahoma City, where their son was born.  By 1940 they settled in Ada, Oklahoma.
