Much of his childhood was spent living in Perry with his grandparents, Charles and Celina Huyck.  He graduated from Perry high school in 1924 and attended two years of college.<\/p>\n<p>On May 31, 1936, he and Esther May Plummer were married in Oklahoma City, where the couple made their home and raised three children.  Clemens worked as a painter\/paperhanger and also at the Oklahoma National Stockyards.<\/p>\n<p>Predeceasing him were his parents and wife.  <\/p>\n<p>Survivors include: his daughter, Mary Allen, of Beaumont, TX; sons Robert D.
