She graduated from Perry high school in 1925.<\/p>\n<p>On August 31, 1925, she and Major Doolittle were married. She worked side by side with her husband managing a cafe in Kay county, Oklahoma, and a grocery store in Enid, Oklahoma.  They were blessed with a son.
