Marie is the 18-year-old daughter of Mrs. Pearl Scott, 643 Delaware street.<\/p>\n<p>Her chief extracurricular activity at PHS has been the high school band.  Marie has not completed plans for the coming years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Willie &#8220;Marie&#8221; (Scott) Faw Faw<\/h1>\n<h3>September 5, 1924 &#8211; January 12, 2021<\/h3>\n<p>Willie Marie Scott Faw Faw, 96, died on January 12, 2021, in Norman, Oklahoma. <\/p>\n<p>Born in Goodwater, Alabama, on September 5, 1924, she was the daughter of Alfred M. and Alice Pearl McMullen Scott.  She was the baby of 7 children and was a loving daughter to her parents and siblings who have preceded her in death.<\/p>\n<p>On December 25, 1943, she married on an army base in Waynesville, Missouri, just before her fiance, Louis Faw Faw&#8217;s, battalion shipped out to the front.  She was a \u201cRosie the Riveter\u201d working at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City while her husband was fighting in the Ardennes, known as the Battle of the Bulge, in Belgium.
