Gibson, 70, Friendswood, Texas, formerly of the Perry community, died Sunday, May 12, 1996, while visiting in Bruce, Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Webb City, Oklahoma, on December 12, 1925, he was the son of Charles Bronson and Moreta May Parkin Gibson.  In March, before his graduation from Perry high school, he was inducted into the United States Navy.<\/p>\n<p>Following two years serving overseas with the navy during World War II, he attended Oklahoma university and was employed by a Cushing drilling company.<\/p>\n<p>On February 26, 1950, he and Deloris Ruth Morgan were married at the First Baptist church of Cushing.
