Smith, 714 Kaw street.  He was born August 20, 1952 in Wichita.  He was in football 1970-71; basketball 1968-69; track 1968-71; weight lifting 1970-71; Spanish club 1969; Thespians 1969-71; on junior prom committee; in the junior play; on the Annual staff 1970-71; newspaper staff; and spirit committee 1970-71; vocal music 1968-71, and was in the honor chorus at the Tri-State music festival.  Psychology is his favorite subject.  He plans to work and attend the Colorado Drafting school.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Michael Edward Smith<\/h1>\n<h3>August 20, 1952 &#8211; May 13, 2026<\/h3>\n<p>Michael Edward Smith, age 73, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a long battle with underlying health issues.<\/p>\n<p>Michael lived life with determination and passion. In his early years, he earned his black belt in Karate, reflecting his dedication and perseverance.
