David Allan Duncan plans to enroll at Oklahoma Baptist university after graduating from Perry high school. He is the 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Duncan route one, Perry. He was born Feb. 28, 1941, in Oklahoma City, and has attended schools in Kansas, Virginia, and Oklahoma. He was a member of the Letterman’s club in the school term of 1956-57, student council in 1958-59, National Honor society in 1958-59, and played basketball in 1955-57.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

David Allan Duncan<\/h1>\n

February 28, 1941 – March 4, 2002<\/h3>\n

David “Dave” Allan Duncan, age 61, of Little Rock, AR, formerly of Perry, entered into eternal rest Monday, March 4, 2002.<\/p>\n

Dave lived his life sharing his love of Jesus Christ with all he knew and was very involved in numerous ministries at Fellowship Bible Church. <\/p>\n

He was an avid sportsman. He served as an Army reservist and worked for Rebsamen Insurance.<\/p>\n

Born February 28, 1941 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Jay B. and Mallie M. Greene. <\/p>\n

At the age of 11, Dave’s mother remarried Clarence A. Duncan.<\/p>\n

Dave graduated in 1963 from Oklahoma Baptist University and was ordained at the First Baptist Church of Perry, Oklahoma March 4, 1962. <\/p>\n

On January 4, 1969, Dave married Gaye E. Petre.<\/p>\n

Dave is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gaye Duncan; two daughters, Robyn Madden of Little Rock and Reagan Duncan of San Francisco, California; one grandson, Dylan Madden; and three brothers, Rick Duncan, Kenneth Duncan and Marion Duncan.<\/p>\n

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2002 at Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock with Rev. Bill Parkinson and Rev. David Bruns officiating.
