(Marshall) Davis<\/h1>\n<h3>September 10, 1911 &#8211; November 22, 1998<\/h3>\n<p>Former Perryan Gertrude (Marshall) Davis, 87, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998 at Maple Ridge South in Tulsa.<\/p>\n<p>Graveside rites will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Hill cemetery.  Rev. Gary Halstead, son-in-law of Mrs. Davis, will officiate.  Arrangements are under direction of Brown Funeral Home.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Davis was born at Perry on Sept. 10, 1911.  Her parents were Edward and Francesca Rahovitch Marshall.  She was a graduate of Perry High School.<\/p>\n<p>In 1947, she and Paul C. Davis Jr. were married at Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n<p>She had worked as an administrative assistant at the capitol in Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n<p>Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Alzheimer&#8217;s research.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two-daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia and Richard Marshall, Tulsa, and Paula and Gary Halstead, Tiffany, OH; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Lana Jones, Ponca City, and Ben and Deborah Davis and Matt and Pam Davis, all of Oklahoma City;  16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to her husband, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"page-FullWidth.php","meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/6957"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=6957"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/6957\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":6961,"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/6957\/revisions\/6961"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/perryokalumni.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=6957"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
