A. Timmons of 1015 Grove street, plans to work in a furniture store after graduation from Perry high school.  He has attended Perry schools four years and is a member of the Distributive Education club.  Donald, who says he does not plan to attend college participated in football from 1946 through 1948.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Donald Francis Timmons<\/h1>\n<h3>March 23, 1932 &#8211; January 30, 2009<\/h3>\n<p>Donald Francis Timmons passed away January 30, 2009, in his hometown of Perry, Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>Donald was born on March 23, 1932, in Perry, Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>In 1957, he married Sharon Leneta Powell, also of Perry. They lived briefly in Midwest City, where Donald worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a civilian mechanic. <\/p>\n<p>They subsequently moved to Salinas, California, where he worked for the Nestle Company until 1979. Don and Sharon returned to Perry that year, and Don began working for OG&#038;E until his retirement in August 1994.<\/p>\n<p>Sharon passed away December 11, 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors; Sons Curtis L. Timmons of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Donald Paul Timmons of Salinas, California; daughters Lesli McAlister and Kristen West, both of Salinas, California; sister Inez Timmons of Perry; and brother Sherman Timmons of Portland, Oregon; two granddaughters; five grandsons; one great grandson; and one great granddaughter.<\/p>\n<p>Memorial services for Donald Francis Timmons, age 76, of Perry, OK, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009, at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
