Grade school at Pleasant Valley, district 27, was followed by four years in Perry high school.<\/p>\n<p>He was secretary of the Perry Future Farmers of America chapter during his senior year.  Hicks held membership in the junior national honor society as well as the senior society.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"two_third last_column\">\n<h1>Leon Richard Hicks<\/h1>\n<h3>January 28, 1926 &#8211; December 29, 1989<\/h3>\n<p>Leon R. Hicks, 63, of OKC passed away Friday. Services will be at 2pm, Monday at Putnam City Christian Church, with a 2pm, Committal service in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Tulsa. <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Hicks was a Navy veteran of WW II, and was a retired supervisor in the Field Audit Section of the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission. <\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife, Virginia; daughter, Lesalie Remick of Springfield, MO; 2 sons, Leon R.
