A memorial service has been planned for 2 p.m. Oct. 3 at the First Presbyterian church. Rev. Jim Dunkin, the church pastor, will officiate.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Hoot, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Mooter, was born Feb. 25, 1908, at Ponca City. She was a graduate of Perry high school and received her masters degree in education from the University of Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p>She and physician Dr. Paul M. Hoot, were married in 1929. Hoot preceded his wife in death.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Hoot was a teacher in the Perry school system for 30 years. She had been a member of the Oklahoma and National Education associations.
