Planning a career in the field of elementary education is Kimberly Kay Bezdicek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bezdicek, 101 Cedar street. She was born in Perry, Oct. 11, 1959. Playing musical instruments and reading are her hobbies. American History is her favorite subject. Miss Bezdicek played in the orchestra for the 1977 production of “Bye Bye Birdie” and also participated in the All School Revues from 1974-78. She was a member of the Perry Explorer Post from 1974-78, and was vice president of that organization in 1974-75, president in 1975-76; secretary, 1976-77; and president, 1977-78. She has won five superior ratings for instrumental solo performances. Other activities include band, 1970-78; Future Teachers of America, 1974-76; state band, 1974-78; Thespians, 1974-77; Girls Recreation association, 1974; and Bear Necessities, 1975-78. Miss Bezdicek plans to attend Northern Oklahoma college at Tonkawa and Northwestern State university at Alva.

Kimberly Kay (Bezdicek) Jordan

October 11, 1959 – March 26, 1982

Kimberly Kay Jordan, 22, 225 Ash street, died at her home at approximately 11 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Jordan was born in Perry Oct. 11, 1959. She graduated from Perry high school in 1978 and was married in Perry Aug. 9, 1980, to Richard Jordan, who survives. She was a member of the Christian church.

Survivors other than her husband of the home include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bezdicek, Perry; a sister, Mrs. Tana Fraire, Perry; a brother, Robert Dean Bezdicek, Arlington, Texas; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bezdicek, Perry; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Martha Spillman, Perry.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian church. Officiating will be Rev. M. R. Work. Burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery.
