Honor Roll Celebration & Fundraiser
The 2026 Honor Roll Banquet and Fundraiser will be hosted at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the FB&T Event Center, 424 N. 7th Street.
As a part of your PHSAA’s Alumni Celebration Weekend, our Honor Roll banquet is our major event recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of former students, faculty, and staff of PHS. We strive to honor individuals who demonstrate notable life achievements, some even overcoming or persevering through personal hardships in order to contribute to their school, community, profession, and/or society. Proceeds from the banquet enable your all-volunteer PHSAA to provide scholarships to graduating seniors. In fact, 29 scholarships worth $2,000 each were awarded this past May by PHSAA, with your help and support.
Also, if you are planning a reunion during the Cherokee Strip Celebration weekend—or another time in the upcoming months—let the association know and we can put the information on the website and Facebook.
2026 Honorees
John Severe – 1970 (posthumous award)
was a lawyer for 47 years and a city attorney and assistant district attorney. PHSAA will miss John, a vital Board member who was always helpful.
David Martin, M.D. – 1971
has served the medical needs of many patients in the Tulsa area for 40 years and volunteered with various groups.
Floyd Kirk – 1973
has been a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent for nearly five decades and has helped children in many ways.
Lori Chris Stoops Cannida – 1976
is a licensed professional counselor and has been a Military Family Life Consultant with the Department of Defense.
Shea Padilla Boschee – 1986
is a career YMCA executive and currently travels in the U.S. to help local YMCAs find a CEO to lead their organization.
Legacy Award: Blaine School
represented by Earnestine Williams and Opal Swan, educated black students for many years before the 1954 court ruling that integrated U.S. schools.

Selection is entirely at the discretion of the PHS Alumni Association Honor Roll Committee. It is not likely that all worthy nominations in a given year can be selected in that year.
Nominations are submitted each year by anyone interested in recognizing the achievement of alumni and selected by the entire PHSAA Board.
