Georgianna E. (Blake) Elliott

October 30, 1912 – March 12, 1998

Georgianna Elliott, 85, Perry, died at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 1998 at Perry Memorial Hospital.

Funeral is set for 1 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Tim Boggess, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery under direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Mrs. Elliott was born Oct. 30, 1912 at Woodward. Her parents were Loomis K. and Cora (Beardstee) Jackson. She was a graduate of Perry High School and the University of Oklahoma.

She and Forrest Elliott were married at Perry on Aug. 25, 1934. Elliott preceded his wife in death in March, 1977.

Mrs. Elliott had been an employee of Henry Dolezal, attorney and was women’s editor of The Perry Daily Journal until she retired.

She held the distinction of being the oldest member of the First Presbyterian church. She also was a member of the Ladies Tuesday Afternoon Club.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Survivors include two daughters, Roberta McCullough, Wickenburg, AZ, and Karen Grim, Perry; two sons, Glen Elliott and Gene Elliott, both of Perry; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
