Floyd Wadsworth, Jr., already has a pretty good idea of what he wants to do after graduation. He expects to become an upholsterer and do auto glass installation.

Wadsworth is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Wadsworth of 813 Cedar street, and was born in Enid March 14, 1929. He was in Jefferson grade school, Ponca City, and Ponca City high school until 1946 when he transferred to Perry.

He is a member of the Distributive Education club and has taken part in basketball, track and football. Floyd belongs to the U. S. naval reserve.

Floyd Elmer Wadsworth, Jr.

March 14, 1929 – September 23, 1949

Floyd E. Wadsworth, Jr., 20, died Friday in an Enid hospital following an illness of three weeks.

He was born in Enid on March 14, 1929, the son of Floyd and Martha Jewel Wadsworth. He graduated from Perry high school in 1948. Following high school he worked for W. B. Ringler in Perry.

Wadsworth is survived by his parents, a grandmother, Mrs. Ada Wadsworth of Perry, and grandfather, James M. Fear of Richmond, California.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Newton funeral chapel with burial at Grace Hill cemetery.
