Billie Orlene Good is the 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Good, 603 Fir. She was born at Crescent October 14, 1928.

She received her grade schooling at Crescent, Mt. Vernon, and Carmi, Ill. Previous to coming to Perry, Billye attended high schools at Pryor and Edmond.

She has been a glee club member since 1942, was a member of the Red Hots from 1944 to 1946, participated in this year’s senior play, and served as a member of the Perryscope, school paper, during the past school year.

After commencement, Billye plans to attend Oklahoma College for Women at Chickasha.

Billye Andrews of Jacksonville, FL., formerly of Bartlesville, OK, died Thursday November 9, 2017, in Jacksonville, FL. She was 89.

Billye was born October 14, 1928, to Orval and Lillian (Green) Good at Crescent, OK. She married Alvin Andrews January 19, 1951. They made their home at Oak Ridge, TN, where Mr. Andrews was employed at the Atomic Energy Plant. In 1952, he became employed with Phillips Petroleum Co. and made their home in Bartlesville, OK.

Billye received her bachelor’s degree in education, working as an elementary school teacher in Bartlesville.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006.

Survivors include one son, Steve Andrews and wife Ann of Raleigh, NC. Four grandchildren: Monica Grover, Chris Andrews, Parker Andrews, and Lillia Andrews. Three great grandchildren: Arthur, Juliet, and Eve Grover.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday November 17, 2017, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, OK.
