Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Donaldson, 8 South Seventh street, are the parents of Kathleen Kay Donaldson, who was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Enid. She attended Enid schools before moving to Perry. She was a member of the Pep club in Enid and is a member of Teenage Republicans. Business is her favorite subject and tumbling her hobby. After graduation she may decide to go to Oklahoma State university or to a beauty school.

Kathleen Kay (Donaldson) Lancaster

February 10, 1955 – June 9, 2008

Kathleen Kay Lancaster, 53, of Orlando, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Aaron Homer and Delpha Lois (Nelson) Donaldson. She was born February 10, 1955, at Waukomis, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, June 9, 2008, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Kathy and Doyle Ray Lancaster were married on March 5, 1983. She had worked as a waitress and enjoyed fishing and camping with her family. The White River in Arkansas was one of her favorite fishing spots. Kathy also enjoyed rattlesnake hunts with her husband. She loved her children and her pets. Her favorite color was purple, and her favorite flower was iris. Kathy’s fondest memories were the wonderful times she spent with her husband of 25 years who also was her best friend. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Doyle, survivors include her father, Aaron H. Donaldson, of Covington, Oklahoma; one brother, Aaron J. Donaldson, of Steadman, North Carolina; two sons, Jesse R. Lancaster, of Orlando, Oklahoma, and Donald P. Jarrett, of Perry, Oklahoma; one daughter, Jenne L. Lancaster, of Orlando, Oklahoma; one step-son, Christopher A. Lancaster, of Seattle, Washington; and three granddaughters, Ashley Jarrett, of Perry, Oklahoma, Ellexis T. Lancaster, of Orlando, Oklahoma, and Ariel L. Lancaster, of Albany, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Calvary Baptist Church in Perry. Brother Roger Dunn will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery at Perry. Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church.
