Planning to seek employment following graduation, is William Franklin Stickney, 17-year-old son of Otis Stickney and Judy Marshall. He resides with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Layton, 1007 Rose Terrace. He attended only Perry schools and has been involved in football, two years; and track, one year.

Perry native Willie Stickney, 25, died at 9:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 1997, at his home.
Stickney was born June 29, 1972, at Perry. He was a graduate of Perry high school and was employed at The Charles Machine Works, Inc.
Survivors include his parents, Judy Cox, Smyrna, GA, and Otis Stickney, Perry; his grandmother, Joyce Layton, Perry; four sisters, Christy Conrad, Shelly Huffman and Stacy Breckenridge, all of Perry, and Scotty Chitwood, Drumright; and a special friend, Kim Franklin.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist church with Rev. Allen McHam, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery.
