Donna Jean “Dee” (McQuain) Richardson

Donna Jean (Dee) Richardson, 84, passed away in Rogers, Arkansas on December 24, 2017.

She was born February 15, 1933, in Perry, Oklahoma to Marty Lester and Georgia Bell Stephens McQuain.

After graduating from Perry High School in 1951, she attended Baylor University and went on to receive a post graduate degree from the University of Oklahoma — School of Physical Therapy.

Dee had been on the Board of Directors of the Stillwater Medical Foundation, President of the Stillwater Medical Center — Medical Wives Auxiliary, Board of Directors of the Stillwater Country Club, President of the Women’s Golf Association — Stillwater Country Club.

She was devoted to her beloved OSU Cowboy Athletics. She was an avid world traveler and when she wasn’t traveling she was preparing for her next adventure.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jesse F. Richardson, M.D. Col. USAF, retired, and her parents.

She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Pete Barnes of Cushing Oklahoma; Michelle Richardson of Rogers, Arkansas; CeCe and John Spedding of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jesse Absher of Ripley, Oklahoma; Curtis Barnes of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Tommy and Hannah Spedding of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by her two brothers, Martie L. McQuain, Jr. and Joseph M. McQuain.

A celebration of her life will held at Stillwater Country Club on January 26 from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Dee requested you make donations to the Stillwater Medical Foundation.
