Allen Lee Curtis likes trigonometry in his schoolwork, and motorcycles are his hobby. He plans to enroll at OSU to study mechanical design technology. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Curtis, 818 Delaware street. He was born Jan. 29, 1955, in Stillwater. He has been in football, basketball, and track.

Allen Lee Curtis

Allen Lee Curtis, 58, Enid, died on July 2, 2013, at his residence.

Born on January 29, 1955, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, he was the son of Woodrow and Katherine Wyant Curtis. He was raised and educated in Perry, graduating from Perry High School with the class of 1974.

Allen served his country in the United States Army for four years with a stint in Vietnam. He was currently employed at Vance Air Force Base as an airplane electrician.

Allen was a member of the American Veterans Motorcycle Club.

Survivors include his companion, Thelma Lloyd of the residence; daughters, Amber Bailey and Karen Betchan, both of Enid; father, Woodrow Curtis of Perry; brother, Daryl Curtis of Port Angeles, Washington, and his beloved American Veterans Motorcycle Club.

He was met in the afterlife by his mother, Katherine, and sister, Kathy Kukuk.

Graveside services will be Saturday, July 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the United States Army.
