Virginia Lucille (Bagby) Harsh

July 25, 1900 – April 26, 1993

Virginia B. Harsh, 92, Oklahoma City, died April 26, 1993.

Born in Easton, Mo., on July 25, 1900, she was the daughter of Rufus Edward and Ida G (Barr) Bagby.

Mrs. Harsh was a longtime resident of Ponca City, OK, where she served 25 years on the library board. She was also a member of PEO, Pi Beta Phi, D.A.R., as well as numerous other civic, educational and cultural organizations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee C. Harsh.

Survivors include a son, R. Stanley Harsh of Winchester, Va.; two daughters, Virginia Lynn of Oklahoma City and Elizabeth Dawson of Palos Verdes, Calif.; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at the First Presbyterian Church in Ponca City, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to either the First Presbyterian Church of Ponca City or of Oklahoma City.
