– is undecided as to the future but has a good record of 4-H club and manual training participation behind her in high school. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Nelson of near Stillwater. She attended Districts 74 and 81 schools and Perry High School. She is a native of Perry.

Mildred Mae (Branham) Crane

June 13, 1921 – November 26, 1991

Mildred “Millie” Crane, 70, of Santa Paula, California, died Tuesday, November 26, 1991, at Santa Paula Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Perry, Oklahoma, on June 13, 1921, she was the daughter of Henry Sylvester and Bessie Lee Anglemyer Branham. She attended Oak Hill school before graduating from Perry high school in 1939.

On September 2, 1939, she and fellow alumnus, Albert Nyle Casey, were married in Newkirk, Oklahoma. They lived in Perry for a few years before moving to California. In November, 1946, she and George Burke Crane were married in Santa Paula.

Survivors include her son, Michael B. Crane of Bellingham, Washington; daughter, Patricia Tanner of Camarillo; sister, Maxine Dauman of Perry, Oklahoma; brother, Leroy Nelson of Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery in Santa Paula, California. Officiating will be Rev. Bernie Stone of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
