Opal Galloway
– daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Galloway of 123 Delaware street, was born here in 1921. She has attended Star, Orlando, Pioneer District 40, Shiloh District 45, Windy Center District 44, Stillwater, Sumner, and Perry schools. At Sumner, she was a member of the girl’s softball team and the glee club. She likes to read and listen to the radio. Her future is undecided.
Opal Dollie (Galloway) Fuller
June 21, 1921 – March 2, 1990
Opal Dollie Fuller, 68, housewife and devoted mother, died Friday, March 2, 1990.
Born in Norman, Oklahoma, on June 21, 1921, she was the daughter of Thomas Edward and Willie May Hawkins Galloway. She attended her senior year at Perry high school, graduating in 1939.
On June 24, 1939, she and Allen Fuller were married in Morrison, Oklahoma. The couple lived in and around Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he had a job with an oil company. They were blessed with four children in their 51 years of marriage.
Survivors include: her husband; three daughters, Sandra Madsen of Lake City, SD, Karen Gorden of Germany and Linda Fuller of Perkins, OK; son, Gary Fuller of Tulsa; brothers, Otis Galloway of California and Darrel Galloway of Texas, sisters, Vioma McGrew and Thelma Eslinger, both of Wichita, KS; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Services are planned for 10 a.m., Monday at West Tulsa Methodist Church. Interment will be at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
